So it's the end of January and you are wondering what happened to those resolutions you set yourself? Want in on our secret?

JANUARY RESOLUTIONS DON'T WORK! We don't believe in them, neither should you and here is why: 
By definition a resolution is perceived by the brain as forcing yourself to do something you either don't like doing or to force yourself to stop doing something "bad". In essence it is linked to a negative element in your subconscious.

What you truly need to work on if you are seeking positive results on your FIT and FAB journey is CHANGE and EVOLUTION or REVOLUTION. 

Start by not beating yourself up, when was torture proved effective in obtaining results? That's right never. 
Instead PRAISE yourself and:

Stop and refocus

Breathe in with the good out with the bad

Sugar & Alcohol: food for thought

Move

Cherish yourself

Give love

Power up

Be bold

How many times have we heard people say "My ____ is so fat!" or "I look dreadful in skinny jeans"  and "I wish I was born skinny" and then read "How to lose weight in 10 days" ? This is not a respectful representation of who we are.

beFITbeFAB believes that the starting point of your journey to connect or reconnect with your FIT and FAB self is to stick to the number one rule of LOVING and RESPECTING your body exactly the way it is. How can you truthfully achieve succesful work if you reject the precious tools you have? The journey has to start somewhere and it begins right here right now with what you have at present.

ONE
Love and respect yourself. Don't wish for something different. Give yourself some love. 
This is the perfect moment to allocate a few precious minutes for some introspection and light meditation.
An opportunity arrises to let go of whatever is weighing you down.

TWO
Breathe. Breath is life. Breath is energy.
Focus on some rythmic breathing. For those familiar with pranayama think deep oceanic breathing.
In with the good, out with the bad.

THREE
Be in the now. Let go of the past and let tomorrow come to you. Be present from within.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life, what you do now will shape what happens next.
Just do it.

BElieve in YOURSELF.
